Camden Town in north London is the capital’s top tourist attraction and also the most artistic and creative area, where Amy Winehouse, Noel Fielding and Graham Coxon used to live. For those who’d love to enjoy some cheap art and incense, the market here is famous for more than 1000 shops, stalls, street food, bars and cafés. Regent’s Park and Primrose Hill are the local parks. Regent’s Park – the loveliest Royal Park, is five minutes away from the bustling High Street. Speaking of transport, you can stroll to the West End from Camden Town in about half an hour with the Northern line.
There are many modern apartments in Camden and the rent is relatively much higher than somewhere else. Cheap apartments in Camden are not easy to find and even the student accommodations are never too cheap. A room in an apartment share in Camden will cost around £700 per month, and for double room the cost would be around £800 or higher.
